King Cornish Crab, formerly known as Spider crab, AKA the end of consumer choice

It was amusing/bemusing to hear that Spider Crabs are undergoing a rebrand. The newly coronated King Cornish Crab is apparently more palatable to the UK market.

Rather than embracing the reprieve in numbers of crabs being consumed a rebrand is embraced. 

This is a 'minument,' to marketing. Minuments are small works which look at the less glorious aspects of  contemporary life. At a time in which Monuments are being (rightly) scrutinised.
