Traces is an impression. An exploration of seeing and not seeing. Depending on the direction and intensity of light the image emerges and disappears. The ubiquity of plastic on our world is inescapable. 

The waste which is visible is far outweighed by the micro and nano-plastics which permeate our environment, waterways, food chains and ourselves. 

Each print is hand-embossed, with each fish embossed in 3 layers. The composition of the image, like a school of fish, is not fixed rendering each print unique. Each composition is contained in a circle.
